The following are several writing samples by Jennifer Knight through her work with the Papio-Missouri River NRD. Jennifer wrote the articles, and designed the newsletters.

For the stories, she interviewed engineers, project managers and education specialists, and learned how to take technical information and make it easy to read.  Spectrum newsletter was published through 2017, and went to a specific, hand-cultivated audience of around 8,000 in the Omaha metro area. The mailing list included landowners, government officials, business owners, and environmentalists.

The final writing sample is more of a soft, promotional piece about the NRD’s education programs that went to teachers. This features a snappy, quick writing style.
